History buttons<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It is a centuries-old rule that jackets and shirts are buttoned on the right for men and on the left for women. As women were traditionally dressed by right-handed aunts (the divine hand), the women’s jacket (buttoned on the left) was the most practical.
\nFor men, right-buttoned jackets were the rule, since independence in dressing came earlier than for women and symbolised the autonomy to dress and button oneself.<\/span><\/p>\n

We thought to ourselves…<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Fashion and bespoke tailoring are made up of rules and traditions, some of which span generations and magnificent periods in history. But fashion also takes on life and personality when rules are broken<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Autonomy is a power that shouldn’t choose genders, orientations or preferences.
