The colours of the post-pandemic
After a dark and grey time of pandemic – and now in the shadow of a war raging around the world – it should come as no surprise that the big trend for spring/summer 2022 is… colour! A clear manifestation of the need to bring back joy and energetic, charismatic tones. We’re already seeing a lot of colour on the catwalks and streets, and at suMisura, there will be no shortage of colour in our bespoke tailoring.
Pink, a timeless
colour Soft but with personality, pink tones will have a strong presence in this year’s spring/summer men’s fashion. In fact, pink is a colour that never loses its prominence, but the variety of shades and proposals always leaves you with a renewed, fresh image and, yes, perfectly suited to men’s tailoring.
Do you feel it’s an unexpected colour for men? History says otherwise, or pink would not have been associated with men’s fashion and great bodies of power for many centuries. The evolution of time has somewhat democratised the colour among all genders, but pink continues to bring charm, contemporaneity and softness to men’s fashion. We show you how in our proposals.
The peace of pinks
Our proposal for wearing colour well this spring/summer is a tailored blazer in a combination of crimson and white, a peaceful, tranquil and sober pink in a discreet and minimal Pied de Poule that lightly covers a half-sleeved knitted polo shirt and combines with white tailored trousers, chino style. A sophisticated, casual and cheerful look, perfect for simple, carefree dates.
